The congressman asks the media to look into Trump and Epstein

U.S. Rep. Ted Lieu did something Tuesday that the national media is refusing to — he brought up Donald Trump’s effed up relationship with child rapist and human trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

While the nation’s press corps finds its courage in order to go after President Joe Biden, Congressman Lieu suggested Tuesday that they might also want to look into whether the guy running against Biden raped children. Crazy idea, right? 

“But something I’ve heard that doesn’t seem to be being covered are the Epstein files,” Lieu said. “These files were released, and like Donald Trump’s sort of all over this, right? There are pictures of him with Jeffrey Epstein. He’s taken multiple plane flights with Epstein with young girls onboard. He is on call logs with Epstein.”

Standing in front of Capitol Hill reporters, Lieu noted that on Twitter, #TrumpPedoFiles was trending even though he stopped short of saying those words out loud. 

“I’m not going to repeat the hash tag because we’re in a dignified setting,” Lieu said. “But yeah, y’all might want to look at that because that’s highly disturbing and again it shows that Donald Trump is unfit for office.”

Will it work? Will the cowardly press finally start asking questions about Trump being a rapist? Or are they just too afraid? 

Regardless, thank you, Rep. Lieu, for taking a stand for what’s right and at least trying to shame the shameless into doing their jobs. We’re grateful.
