Super bummed out about note 6. I think Jasmine Crockett is great but we do have to come together and we need to do it fast. I think Michigan is a role model for this. The candidates who lost even endorsed the winning candidate in their concession speeches. I get it, it’s hard to lose but with the stakes so high, we can’t have any sore losers, not anymore.
Crockett endorsed Talarico in March after the primary. She hasn’t committed to campaigning for him. Maybe she will. Has Haley Stevens committed to campaigning for El-Sayed? Has Slotkin or Witmer?
Deregulating Head Start is one of this administration’s typically mean and stupid ideas. Those kids come from many of the most challenging homes. My daughter, who works there, generally has to supervise one child, who is a danger and disruptive to the other children. Of course most of the other kids don’t need nearly this student teacher ratio. We need to support these children to give them the best chance of success.

Our Parents lost their home, business, community, friends and all they owned in the Camp fire...in Paradise CA. the fire burned so hot that all the porcelain...toilets, bathtubs sinks...turned to powder.
Or fires GE., Our poor neighbors in Spokane WA, Oregon, Canada, Minnesota, Oregon, Canada...Europe Spain, France....and those Data centers sucking up all that water....

We've been following the river situations in Europe and in the western US. When shipping traffic on the worlds rivers can't move goods because the water is not deep enough for them to travel huge issues arise.

MN, MT, ID, WA, OR, CA, NM — big tracts of land burning or burnt, ash falling from the sky, fleeing more than one place because of smoke, signs in windows thanking firefighters. Now I’m in north-central Spain, where warming and drying have been happening *very* rapidly for the past several years, and I’m putting together my evacuation kit.

It's costing a lot more than that. I'm watching a small retirement home being built up the street from me, maybe 1000 sq ft & a basement. Slowest build I have ever seen in my life. Inch by inch. Our immigrants have become such a solid base of our society. They build our houses, landscape our lawns, clean our homes, clean grandma's ass, etc, and workers can't be found. Contractors are having a hard time holding on to construction teams.

Granted, Abbott and Paxton have a lot of money, so they may not need RNSC money, but I'll believe the polls when Talarico and company are sworn in. I live in TX, too. A Dem has not won a statewide race in 36 years. She is wise to not get too excited over polls. She is not being a hater, she is being someone who literally understands how TX is.
