As an independent progressive, I doubt this country will ever have what every other developed countries have for their citizens: universal health care. Nor will they ever ratify the ERA (50 years old or more by now). And I doubt they'll even give women and girls back their bodily autonomy, though men have had this forever. AND the fact that the minimum wage hasn't been raised in so long...surely surely the democrats could have gotten the workers more money...but of course, they couldn't. :( And MAGAs want to own you, not pay you more. lol

I watched Jane Fonda’s documentary “Gaslit” last night. One thing that struck me- a fellow remarked that the US is prolonging the UKR war while we sign long term LNG contracts w the EU. And that ALL of our fracked (LNG) gas is exported. I am guessing that Trump wants to steal Iran’s clients also. So trust no politician w energy interest.
The documentary is heartbreaking. BTW. Our methane output is unbelievable.
Trump has no desire to end his war. His aim is to own the entire oil market so he can charge whatever he wants to for petroleum products. He doesn’t want the strait of hormuz to reopen. He doesn’t want any of the oil producing countries to be able to ship their oil. Check on our incompetent ambassador to Greece who said Trump is responsible for the economic collapse of Formosa and he can do the same to Greece if he wishes. She made this statement at a dinner when she had been drinking and not behaving in our best interests.
trump has turned the social norms of usa into a slugfest of selfishness and immorality....and magat repugnicans will even attack other christians and claim they are satanists...because the gospels of christ do not suit the evil repugnican magat narrative.
