The Democratic presidential nominee better have a real plan to reform it--in addition to having a (long) list of day-one executive orders to rescind Trump's executive orders--and in addition to announcing "Accountability Tribunals" for those who have participated in, or facilitated Trump's authoritarian fascism. Yeah, January 20, 2029 will be a busy one. No more of this "Let's get back to normal" shit. We tried that once and look where that got us.

I think its worth noting that Florida, especially South Florida, is home to, by far, the largest group of Haitians living with TPS. And they are integrated and crucial to multiple major sectors of South Florida's economy, especially at the airports, in health care (in clinic and at home) and agriculture. If TPS ends for these thousands and thousands of workers there's a real chance Fort Lauderdale Airport shuts down. Also worth noting, many historians think South Florida caused the Great Depression AND the Great Recession. That's why Florida's Senators would be damn fools to NOT vote for the House bill that would restore TPS. As for the human toll, it's beyond words. A) there's no question she's made America a worse place B) there's no question Haitians and Syrians make America a better place C) many Haitians here in South Florida have personally made my life better and D) if they need to go back to Haiti and Syria she needs to take her ass straight back to Satan's lair. I just don't understand how a frosty white European can claim any more right to be in the Americas than literally anyone else. My friends with the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians, however, do in fact have every right to tell Megyn to take her ass home. Yet, every week for the last 47 weeks the Miccosukee have invited people to join them in prayer against the evils in Alligator Alcatraz, evils that swept up Haitians and Syrians. I'd much rather stand with the Miccosukee than the Megyn Kellys of the world.
