A year ago, I wanted to really enjoy the holidays because I felt like a train wreck was coming. My husband said not to worry, it will take time and trump won't move too quickly. I didn't believe him completely, but I did feel like it would take a while to get the bad stuff really started. We were both SO wrong. The train wreck came full force and blew up in our faces. Then we were bombed, over and over and over....etc. again and again and again. It is SO, SO, SO much worse than I ever imagined. The level of evil, greed, hate, and maniacal idiocy is overwhelming. Like everyone I know and like and love, we're working to support and encourage and lift up ourselves and our neighbors. And when that stray maga asshole who still pops up in my line of vision speaks up to me, I let them have it. They don't even know what to say when you challenge them except more idiot stuff. Ugh. What the hell are we going to do???? Keep fighting, that's what. I needed to say that. Thanks for the outlet!
WTAF Hakeem Jeffries?!?! If somebody is convicted by a jury in a court of law, especially when it's a dem politician, we should not be justifying it. It's like he has no concept of strategy or the bigger picture that trumpstein is doing pay-to-play for his pardons.
The "Pitiful Pittance Perks" start kicking in for the 2025 Tax Year so that we won't be so upset over lost SNAP, Medicaid & Medicare benefits.... and the changes to other things like student loans, Pell Grants, and other assistance that would allow you or your children to go to college, the $5 Trillion extra dollars approved to "borrow" for 2025/2026, Unemployment Benefits, tax deductions and tax breaks for you and me that have been eliminated, and the fact that only the richest people will get a tax break.
But you will have pounded into your brain through social media, news, campaign ads, and all other kinds of propaganda what these "pitiful pittance perks" are - but not the nitty gritty details on how they work and how you really won't qualify, or if you do, you won't get much of a deduction.
