I dunno. Maybe when gas hits $12/gallon--it's already $26/gallon in parts of Alaska...or maybe when the regime refuses to seat a new Dem-majority Congress elected by the people in January? Maybe when even more farmers watch their farms get swallowed up for pennies on the dollar by the Felon's Big Ag corporate buddies? Maybe when the BigBS Bill goes into effect and old whyte people see their Medicare drug premiums skyrocket, coverage slashed, and their Soc Sec checks shrink?
The majority of people in this country already have their heads down, working as much as they can to afford essentials, so many don't have time to look at the news--even the highly compromised national nightly tv news. They can't afford cable, streaming services, or newspapers anymore (if there are any left in their town) and heaven knows they don't read independent online reporting. Maybe they should pick their heads up and go on strike.
Yeah, I agree with you: We aren't feeling enough pain yet, and those at the bottom are still seeing just enough light to believe that if they just keep at it, they'll start to see daylight, and so they soldier on. But when they realize that that's not going to happen, *maybe* they'll realize that the only way to end this is revolt. I hate that, but I've pretty much given up on any other way.
