Snappy quip, but don't ever forget that Thom Tillis is one of the biggest POS in the senate, and if he wasn't retiring he'd be one of Paxton's biggest cheerleaders. Tillis only found his backbone once it became clear he couldn't win a republican primary here in NC and decided to retire. He's a world-class phony.
You should never cheer Ken Paxton - for any reason. Paxton is so much worse than Tillis. He is a Trump 2.0, he just hasn't gotten to the level of Trump to grift as much.
I wouldn't cheer for either one of them. Tillis may not be Paxton-level corrupt, few are, but he's just as hyper-partisan and sleazy. When he was the Speaker of the NC House, he's the one who led the first round voter suppression that was so egregious it became a part of a Daily Show interview conducted by Asif Mandvi.
Although I am grateful for being a Sexy Patriot, it has come to my attention that anyone who pays a very nominal fee can become one. I kindly ask that you enforce the following stringent standards in order to become an official SP:
1. You have to at least be as attractive as Stephen Cheung
2. You have pass a very challenging "intelligence" test like the President did - 3 times! Once is enough though for purposes of membership
3. You have to surpass the deep medical knowledge that the current Secretary of Health exhibits each and every day
I know that these are impossibly high standards but the pride and respect of being a Sexy Patriot must be held in perpetuity. Thank you for your attention to this matter. HTN
Note 7: ANYONE who shows up for Trump's gaudy, grotesque, trailer park UFC event at the White House is showing their true colors. They can all take a long walk off a short pier.
I think AI should be banned until a person’s brain is mature at age 25. It stifles creativity and the ability to think on one’s own. It creates mental laziness.
Note 1: I was surprised by the voting split in the Cornyn/Paxton Race. Cornyn should have realized he lost the vote when he tried to do a partisan vote after the Uvalde school shooting. Nice effort, but the monster he helped create started eating him then.
Also, I'm glad that Adam's Paxton tattoo isn't on his lower back.
Note 3: Weirdly, Chip Roy may have been the better choice of a candidate. Maga Hayes Middleton - that was what his ads all called him - is a total piece of shit. I won't vote for either one but at least Chip supported Liz Cheney.
Note 9: Christian Menefee is a good candidate. They are both incumbents but Menefee has had 3 tough elections to win the seat the first time. He beat Amanda Edwards - who I'd keep an eye on if I were you - to win Sheila Jackson Lee's seat. Now he had to beat Al Green for the gerrymandered seat. Menefee was the Harris County attorney and went up against the Texas Leg (Abbott and company) for voting rights and other actions against Houston - and won. He's legit.
Note 18: That's my niece. She's gone through hell because of a private comment. I have one sister who wants to pay a Russian hacker to figure out who shared the post. She's amazingly supportive of everyone and a roller derby girl. She deserves only the best.
