One of my favorite cultural venues in Miami is having a special tribute dinner and presentation for its CEO tonight, so that's where I'll be. I hope there aren't any jokes or cracks about what some people are watching on TV. I just want to enjoy my event.

Lots of good stuff in today's post! :) The mention that Sam's favorite band is Guns 'n Roses took me back to those years. Their Appetite For Destruction album was the first cassette my son ever bought (he was in 5th grade at the time) and we were living way out of town during those years and had a 25 mile drive for me to drop them off at school on my way to work. We had every song on the album memorized and sang them with the band all the way to school every morning :) Fun times during some hard times!

Why has NO ONE reminded us that Pres.
