It’s Tuesday. There are 588 days until the midterm elections. Senate Democrats still don’t get it, Team Trump wrecks social security and the Russian asset says security breaches are cool.
In answer to Note 11 (had you read past the headline I wouldn't have to write this): the Trump portrait in Colorado was commissioned and paid for by the Republican caucus in the State Legislature. In answer to Trump's complaint, the Minority Leader in the Senate went to the Democratic majority leader and asked that the painting be taken down, that they were going to have a portrait done that was "more contemporaneously accurate." When asked, the majority leader said "The Republicans commissioned it and paid for it. If they want to leap to follow instructions, fine. The picture's gone."
Doesn't sound like "Democrats don't get the message" to me. One thing people like us who write these Substacks have to do is not let our ideological blinders and preconceived notions blind us to what is actually there to be reported.
Dems have lost their goddamn minds!!!! They should not be giving anyone anything in this administration. Kaine and Warner are in my state! I am appalled and have let them have it! This is ridiculous! Shame fucking shame on them and all the others who are helping to burn Rome.
So they texted about an attack on a non secure site with a reporter present whom they did not know was on it. Then they all got off their phones and flew to Florida for an exclusive dinner and NO ONE TALKED ABOUT IT? How else would the president claim he didn't know?? Could be his mental state of lack thereof. If they can afford 1 million a head, then they can pay taxes. Oh and they should all be fired for breach of security, and basic assholeness!! (adding to my personal dictionary!)
