If you knew 80 children were starving to death every day because that is what Zionists do, the lives of two diplomates, Zionists, doesn't seems such a bad trade off. It's not evil, it is retribution.

I wonder when foreign leaders will just stop coming. Will recognize the Oval Office for what it is. A trap.

I was born 5 years after the end of WWII. I heard every story, read every book I could get my hands on about that war and what Germany, Hitler, did to 11 million people. We all shudder in horror. As we have sat an watched our American government go in and over throw democratically elected governments, installed dictators, because we wanted to guarantee out access to their resources.

Yes, we had USAID, we have done some good. And everyone admits it is in our own self interest that we did so. This country has never done anything that did not have a price tag on it for the recipient.

This country deserves tRump. Until the people actually wake up to the horrors we have committed and are committing so we can have cheap stuff, eat ourselves to obesity, drive gas guzzling vehicles, and claim we are superior to every other nation on earth, and supposedly, do it all in the name of God (we are a Christian nation after all), I'm going to sit back in wonder, and watch it crumble to dust.

ANYONE making excuses for the cold-blooded murder of people wholly unconnected to Israeli government policy is morally bankrupt. Period.

What about the cold blooded murders of Palestinian babies, children, teens, innocent men and women? Their lives aren’t worth anything? Push people far enough, violence is going to be the reaction. And a lot of people are disgusted and disturbed by Israel’s unending GENOCIDE against the Palestinian people.

Have you blamed Hamas yet? They started the whole mess with their attempted genocide of Israelis. It's in their charter to wipe Jews off the face of the earth. And you defend these murderers!

If you’re still saying “but Hamas” you’re nothing but a racist Genocide apologist. Never Again, means Never Again, for EVERYONE.

1948, NAKBA, was the start of the terrorism of Palestine by the Israelis. Do a dive into the history of why Palestine was given, without consent of it's people, to Israel, out of an excess of guilt over the Holocaust. It should never have happened. Look at the actual history, recorded by Jewish scholars of the horrors Israel has heaped on Palestine. Yes, HAMAS is supported by al- Qaeda and Iran. Thank God someone supports them. The phrase, from the Sea to Sea, is written in the original Charter for Israel, not Palestine, and if you care to look, it is Netanyahu intent, to dominate that entire region. That is why they want us to go to war with Iran, which would devastating. The Palestinians are NOT THE AGRESSORS. ISRAEL IS. This is not a war. It is a genocide.

Palestine was never a country with citizens. The British claimed the area as their territory. Prior, the Arabs and Jews lived in relative peace. When Israel became a state, the hegemonic Muslims were outraged. How dare Jews claim a tiny piece of land for themselves after the Holocaust. As a result, the armies of Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq fought Israel for this slip of land. Who were the aggressors? I will not defend Bibi and his far right government. But cite your source of information for "they want us to go to war with Iran." You choose to believe that what is going on is genocide when it is not. Look up the meaning of the term genocide. BTW, how concerned are you with the Sudan, Ethiopia, Conga, Rohingyas? Or for you does the expression no Jews no news apply to you?

One has nothing to do with the other. Whataboutism to excuse someone claiming that cold-blooded murder 'isn't evil, it's retribution' is disgusting, phony moral equivalence, and anyone doing it has utterly lost any moral ground to stand on. Most people are adult enough and decent enough to be outraged by the genocide in Gaza WITHOUT making excuses for murder. Get a fucking grip. Or a soul.

More FAUX disgust. I dedicate myself every day, to never accept what is happening in Gaza, any more than I accepted what happened in Germany 80 years ago. Where is your disgust for the starving, deliberately, of children? The most painful, horrible way to die. Those two Jewish people, working at the Embassy, are not innocent. They would not be there if they were not Zionists. Where is the soul of Zionists? How about American Zionist who are stealing the West Bank, who openly cry for the death of all Palestinians. This is not war. You need two equal combatants for a war. This is an indigenous people fighting colonial invasion, and as far as I'm concerned, after the 1948 NAKBA, Hamas are freedom fighters, fighting for their country. Even so, 1967 Hamas agreed to a Two State solution, and Israel ignored it. They have had the agenda of complete cleansing since 1948. It is written in their Charter. And Israeli Zionists have lied to the world, about their aggression, and their intent.

The Palestinians are no more indigenous to the area than the Jews. Learn your history instead of spouting nonsense. The colonialists were the Europeans. You are so brainwashed and anti-semitic that nothing anyone will write will change your mind. BTW, do you know that Hamas hordes all shipments of food and starves the Gazans so that gullible people like you will defend them?

Well, aren't you special? Not only morally patronizing but a mind-reader as well. And on top of that, apparently elected to play god and decide which murders are OK and which aren't. I've had enough of your apologetics, Barbie. Bye, girl, bye.

This is excuse-making in its rawest most vile form:

"If you knew 80 children were starving to death every day because that is what Zionists do, the lives of two diplomates, Zionists, doesn't seems such a bad trade off. It's not evil, it is retribution."

I can see how you missed. It was the first sentence in her post.

Are you suggesting one atrocity excuses another? That's some phony moral relativism right there. As I've said before, MOST people are adult enough and decent enough to be outraged by the genocide in Gaza WITHOUT making excuses for cold-blooded murder.

they're connected - and if you want to talk moral relativism, Israel has killed hundreds of Palestinians for every casualty they suffered themselves - and they wouldn't have suffered attacks from Palestinians if they hadn't invaded the country in the first place.

Jane in NC's avatar

No, they're not connected. One despicable act doesn't excuse another. Listen to yourself. You're making excuses for murder. That's morally repugnant. It's quite possible - and reasonable - for people to be outraged at the treatment of Palestinians at the hands of the Israeli government WITHOUT making excuses for murder. Period.

Stop your mewling outrage. Your not convincing anyone. The cold blooded murder of 100's of thousands, because that is how many have been slaughtered. And you telling people that they should not, a Palestinian, that he should not hate the Zionists so much that he would want some kind of retribution. Because, really, that is ALL it is.

Let me ask you. If two German Citizens, had been shot in front of the German Embassy in 1939, if we knew what the Germans were doing in the Camps, would you feel the same?

Oh Jane, you protest too much. Your so outraged. Adult enough to actually stop the starvation of kids, the most horrible way to die. Over 90 days there has been a COMPLETE embargo on any food, water or any supplies, including medical, into Gaza. What do you think the death toll is. They refuse to let people leave, no to mention, there is no place for them to go. 14,000?? If I knew my family, or someone I loved was there, and I knew there were Zionists at the embassy, which they would have to be, I would bring the war to the embassy doorstep if I thought it would get someone's attention.

Then I am morally bankrupt. All those babies being starved, the most evil way to die, the most painful, are not connected to Israel either. I wonder which side of history you will be on. 1948, NAKBA, was the start of the terrorism of Palestine by the Israelis. Do a dive into the history of why Palestine was given, without consent of it's people, to Israel, out of an excess of guilt over the Holocaust. It should never have happened. Look at the actual history, recorded by Jewish scholars, 33% of Jews, in Israel, Orthodox Jews support Palestine, of the horrors Israel has heaped on Palestine. Yes, HAMAS is supported by al- Qaeda and Iran. Thank God someone supports them. The phrase, from the Sea to Sea, is written in the original Charter for Israel, not Palestine, and if you care to look, it is Netanyahu intent, to dominate that entire region.
