Fucked Buttheaded Idiots (FBI)
The real nightmare of Trumpism is that the horrible shit you see is not as bad as the horrible shit that’s coming down the pike. Last week, we assumed nothing worse could happen at the FBI beyond QAnon freakshow Kash Patel becoming director. We were wrong. Last night Trump announced that possible steroid enthusiast and road rage in human form Dan Bongino will be deputy director. Dan is a very very angry man who used to be a Secret Service agent before he sold out the Obamas. It’s hard to imagine a more deranged or dangerous person to have this job. Happy Monday.

On Friday night, Trump fired the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff because he’s Black. That’s not an exaggeration. He also fired the only woman chief of staff. The white guys kept their jobs. Anyone still pretending not to see what’s happening here is just fine with it. Gen. CQ Brown was more qualified than anyone Trump has nominated for any job, but he’s still out. It ain’t hard to figure out why. And as you saw from the video above, Trump also fired the JAGs so there won’t be any pesky lawyers around to stop him from ordering troops to kill Americans.

Today marks three years since Russia illegally invaded Ukraine’s sovereign territory. We were told that Ukraine would fall in a matter of days, but they are still standing and still fighting and about to be abandoned by the United States. But a number of European leaders are visiting the brave country today to make clear that they are standing with Ukraine even if Trump’s bitch ass won’t. We are proud to support Ukraine, and we always will be.

Adam and Sam—separate issue—as a victim of the LA fire (largest disaster in country’s history) I can attest that Trump administration has done less then give out paper towels. Instead he has and is gutting every federal agency that usually helps and that has a playbook for handling national disasters. So. Funny huh? When Biden was president Trump spread lie after lie about how the agencies and administration were doing nothing and those lies were spread through a fawning media. No reports I have read or heard through ANY media about what Trump/Musk are NOT doing. California is on its own. The insurance companies are finding every way not to pay (most notably California Fair Plan) and as our legal system is collapsing there is zero leverage to force them to honor their commitments. The hit to LA is ENORMOUS and the local government is sympathetic but floundering. GOP is gleefully blaming Newsom and Bass—all while tieing their hands behind their back. LA times isn’t covering THAT story. Nor is NYTimes or Post. Or—-anyone. But make no mistake Climate Crisis is here. These disasters will come for every single human. Meaning mass homelessness. Mass transmission of disease (toxicity and insects etc) lack of potable water. (Or in some places any water). Massive disruption to federal food chain. This is now. Without a functioning federal government —it’s not “oh so sad — bad things are happening to someone else someplace else.” No. Now it is quickly becoming bad things will happen to EVERYONE of us —catastrophic things—and those fucking moronic crooks will be prancing around the Whitehouse dancing on the country’s grave.
