I've been uneasy since driving north west, from Tucson, through Eloy yesterday to visit family and drove past the Core Civic Concentration Camp. Core Civic is the name I saw on the many 'We Are Hiring' signs along the road & the facility entrance to the "Detention Center" they are calling it ........ HUGE new building among "correctional facilities". Eloy has been mostly agriculture but civilization is quickly encroaching and taking over the land with housing. It has also become ultra conservative along with San Tan Valley. The site of Casa Grande Ruins, in Coolidge, Eloy & San Tan Valley all sit on Gila River Indian Reservation, or community as I see Reservation land being called these days. Crazy huh, on native peoples land? I noticed in Coolidge shuttered Mexican food restaurants :-( . Sad. BUT, one resident's home, that sits along the main drag, had in big lettering, easily seen from the road, pro DEI, No Kings, etc. etc signs plastered on their fence for all to see. So, we have resisters in plain site for the goons, bikers (saw so many) and yahoos to take notice. Very disturbing and distressing to see what is happening in some parts of Arizona. Eloy 54 miles north west from Tucson, Marana 25 miles and Surprise 142 miles. And those are just the areas I know about that are putting in these concentration camps.
Maybe you heard this, DHS paid 70 Mil, in cash, for the 'warehouse' in Surprise that will become a 'detention center'. Citizens are fighting, diligently, in Marana against that 'detention center'

And we don’t know exactly how ICE will use this warehouse. But we know enough. I ask you to consider what the mayor of Ohrdruf might have thought before he died. Maybe he felt like a victim. He might have thought, ‘How is this my fault? I had no jurisdiction over this.’ Maybe he would have said, ‘This site was not subject to local zoning, what could I do?’ But I think, when he reflected on the suffering that occurred at this camp, just outside of town, that those words would have sounded hollow even to him. Because in his heart he knew, as we do, that we are all responsible for what happens in our community.”
And on that note, I highly recommend reading Edward Abbey's "The Monkey Wrench Gang" and revisit some of Earth First's tactics in regards to these camps.
