As a currently non-religious person of devout Catholic upbringing, I'm astounded by the open bigotry of many Democrats. The obvious bigotry of some democrats that are of ethnic minority groups or are women is the most astounding. I'm a registered democrat for 46 years. I'm old enough to know that no matter how much I would like it not to be so, many people suck. But, seriously, at this juncture, "blue no matter who" has never been more critical. It's bad enough that my devout Catholic parents and other family members are MAGA, I hate that democrats can't ever unite even at this time. Ugh

The old DNC money machine needs to be dismantled. I’m a lifelong Democrat, but I can see the “leaders” of the old party are compromised and lobbied to the point of basically being 1990 Republicans. It’s vile.

If the Democrats want to remain in power once they've gotten their foot back in the door, they need to relegate creeps like Haley Stevens to the back bench, off of key committees, and away from any level of visibility that could possibly make her "the voice of the party".

People are sick of the Schumers/Jeffries corporate "centrists", and want fighters who will take the law and the constitution into any level of fight required to punish, banish, and defeat the criminals of the Banana-Republican party and the Trump regime.

Well said Chauncey!

Great message! I think Haley wants to run for office again and wants to make sure she doesn't cut herself off from future AIPAC $$$

Meanwhile her fiance is a disabiltity rights advocate who seems not to give a sh** that Trump took money away from disabled folks, esp thru Medicare cuts.

I voted BLUE. entire ticket here in Florida. As to Haley Stevens, I never heard about her until she emerged as a petty, sore loser. If I lived In Michigan, I'd vote for El Sayed. I'm not interested in his religion. His policies are those I support. Now, what if his name was Aaron Goldberg, a Jew. Would she take the same stance? As a sore loser, yes. Because she is anti Semite, as Arabs are Semites as well as Jews. She is disgusting and immature, fearing and hating someone because of their religion, and name. I'm sure she's a "good Christian".....

I have been enlightened! Because of your post, I just looked up "semite," and now I know so much more. For the record, I am a mainline Protestant Christian, and I believe that we are not a "Christian" nation. We are a democracy for ALL people.

Thank you for your comment.

Stevens has all the judgment, sensitivities, intelligence, behavior, and political beliefs and practices of a Republican.

Just saw the following by @therealbrent.bsky.social: “It’s incredibly telling that the media bombards figures like Zohran and Abdul El-Sayed with questions about whether they hate Jews and yet I don’t think I’ve ever seen people like Haley Stevens, Hillary Scholten, or John Fetterman asked about whether they hate Muslims.“

I sent ms Haley a msg on Bluesky. Back Abdul of Back Out.

It's the Democratic machine which does not want to lose power over their candidates. I'm not surprised that they only back their chosen candidates. It sucks to be a democrat in Michigan. Haley should be run out of the party. I hope her political career is over. BITCH!!!!!

Chrissy's avatar

As her constituent; I sent her a dissenting note!

What the hell is WRONG with Dems like Haley Stevens? We need to unite as a party if we want to defeat the cruel, chaotic, and corrupt cult members! Thank you Adam and Sam for all that you do to fight for DEMOCRACY!

sheryl jeffries's avatar

I agree. These people need to get out of the way. She's another Fetterman

Heinous Haley. Rep Clyburn as of now said both are invited to his assembly tomorrow. I hope his team is talking to her. What is her motivation, what does she gain?

Mckeown, Margaret G's avatar

She gains future possible BIG dontions from AIPAC

Christina Gray's avatar

Lust for power is her motivation, she thinks she's burnishing her halo with AIPAC and other big donors is what she hopes to gain.

She is, however, seemingly too stupid to realize she's outing herself in a big way. Sore loser? She comes across as the essence of a PILL.

The difference between the Democrats and the Republicans is the Republicans don't care how repulsive their candidate is, they will still support them. We hold out for the "perfect" candidate. I hope that ends with this election or we perish.

💯 agree. Stop the crap and get on board.
