My overseas ballot is in! Got the email a little after midnight from the great Pima County folks and filled out the ballot online a few hours later. Feels good but a little weird to have done it so early.
I hope Sam caught some good waves 🏄♂️ this morning. Whatever it takes to keep oneself sane, happy and grounded is the most important thing…no matter what time it is! Have a safe, happy and peaceful weekend 🫶
Thank heaven I live in Virginia. Early voting starts today! I’ve been participating regularly in a weekly protest outside Ben Cline’s office for 80+ weeks. My sign has had a countdown to midterms and early voting each week. Looking forward to my new sign which will say GO VOTE NOW. We are, unfortunately, in a heavily red district which would have been diluted by our vote earlier this year to change the district makeups. Anyone in District 6, VOTE FOR BETH MACY.
I'm a poll worker in SoAZ and during the primary, we had a MAGAt inspector that was sooo horrible (racist, not following protocol, violating laws) that not only did I write a three page single spaced documentation of all the violations, I learned three other workers did too! So that MAGAts ass is grass, never to work any election in the state again! PLUS, new training procedures include having every election worker sign an affidavit acknowledging FIFTEEN violation points we brought up, and if anyone at a voting center violates ONE, we are to call the hotline and they will be immediately removed and replaced. YEAH BABY!
Sadly, for the first time ever, our training also included Active Shooter drills... but as I told the guy whining about it beside me, "THIS is what we make six-year-olds go through in first grade, every damn month. Maybe you should think about that."
Democratic advisors are 99% of the f’kn problem. We can’t let them continue to hold us back. I never want to hear another word from Plouffe or Axelrod or Carville or ANY of the lite-republicans.
