This is the part people need tattooed on the inside of every doomscroller's hand:

Pick a race.

Pick a candidate.

Do something boring and useful.

Democracy is not saved by having the correct emotional temperature at your phone. It is saved by converting panic into logistics.

I will admit that Note 10 got me all excited. Here’s hoping. 😝

Same here, Alanna. I had to read that 3x to allow it to "sink in" - That was Tom Cotton on Faux Snooz... Tom f-ing Cotton on Fox.

That’s the first intelligent comment I’ve ever heard him say!!

Nailed it again; we're on it with James in Texas. I'm with you; we are sick to death of the orange mad man. Pete Hegseth needs to be impeached for being a liar and thief. He's begging for more money when our troops are being killed in this illegal war.

Judy Sherwood's avatar

Hegseth is a loud-mouthed idiot who does not belong anywhere in any position of influence/authority. He is a war criminal... you can even ask Tom Cotton! Now, there's a shocker!

sheryl jeffries's avatar

Wow; Tom Cotton? I saw a commercial on CNN this morning that made my stomach turn

"Ultimately, it's not about Prime Minster Netanyahu and Israel -- it's about arresting Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth and Marco Rubio in the future if they ever travel abroad."

Yep - it was pretty obvious as soon as Rubio started talking about going after the ICC that it's because this regime is full of people committing war crimes. Trump said it again - they're going to bomb bridges and other civilian infrastructure.

Did you hear that the remains of the only white soldier who died recently in the Middle East are being flown home on Air Force One, along with family. What about the remains of the three minority soldiers who also recently died in the Middle East?

Thank you for recognizing Arizona. I heard a new ad by Hobbs this morning on my way back from the grocery store. GREAT ad, attacking the previous governors for allowing the Saudis to take/use/drain our water aquifers to water the grain/grass/feed they are growing on AZ land for their cattle. Katie is known as the Veto Queen, beating her record every year. She saves us from the radical GOP AZ legislature and their crazy Trump agenda. Yes, they follow & try to do legislation occurring in the WH. And yes, GOP candidate for Secty of State, Kolodin is lying about Fontes.

"She saves us from the radical GOP AZ legislature and their crazy Trump agenda, and razor-thin margin."

The Repukes in this state act like they have a yuuge majority instead a couple of seats.

Also The racist Pig Horne was ousted, but by a Stephanie Yee who is dangerous, because she appears moderate.

I figured this was a good group to share. Yesterday I learned that my 84-year-old mom with Alzheimer's, current PCP is a Trump follower. Apparently, he likes the policies of RFK, Jr. Thankfully, the UT Brain Center already had a new PCP lined up. Can't get away from him fast enough.

Michele Ashton's avatar

Um forgive me but what is a PCP? My husband and brother are both physicians. Is that what you are trying to say bc from my first hand knowledge of the medical community they HATE being called Primary Care Givers or PCPs. It's disrespectful to people who have tens of years of medical training and expertise. If that's not what you meant, the please clarify who this caregiver is. And best to you and your Mom, my Mom had Alzheimer's and it was quite the journey - not so much for her bc she was unaware. But for my sibs who didn't see her daily like I did, it was very hard.

Leslie Pruski's avatar

No disrespect was meant. That is the insurance term (primary care provider), and I did not realize it was seen as disrespectful. He is/was her primary care doctor. Has been for 10 plus years.

And the Alzheimer's is definitely a journey and it is different for me and my siblings.

Sam Youngman's avatar

You clearly didn’t mean any disrespect and you don’t need to clarify. If people want to get bent out of shape over common and harmless abbreviations, then that’s on them. Sending love and good thoughts your way.

"Trump is actually about to make a deal that would allow Saudi Arabia to go nuclear."

On the positive side, we'll probably be the first ones to find out that theirs works.

Mamdani needs to stay in his lane. NY has enough problems to keep him busy without him sticking his nose into foreign affairs.

Mia Carter's avatar

Mamdani is in his lane: the ethical humanist compassionate lane that knows how to identify the genocidal crimes that too many chose to ignore.

Marilyn's avatar

What did that “ethical humanist” say about the genocidal crimes of Hamas and Hezbollah?

Mia Carter's avatar

Sorry, missed your question. Mamdani referred to the Oct. 7 attacks as “a horrific war crime.” You can Google and hear/read for yourself. Whataboutism does not absolve Netanyahu.
