Note Ten: I don't know what's funnier: Cillizza whining about having a note taped to his Swastikar, or the fact that he Streisand his own Tesla by whining about it. That punk painted a target on his own car, and my stomach hurts from laughing. π Also, if anybody has a few seconds, check out the righteous bitchslapping he got in his comments thread. Good lawd, the schadenfreude!!
Leon Elon's quote to WaPo made me snort. "Even if something bad happens, we'll still get blamed for it even though we had nothing to do with it." Karma. It's a thing. Joe Biden is smiling:)
I have seen clips of Fox interviews with Trump that were edited to remove much of the dumb nonsense he spews. I believe this has been done multiple times through the years by Fox. Why isn't this mentioned as he makes these bogus accusations against 60 Minutes?
I wrote this to Jay Kuo and I think you guys my have some input, too:
I'm hoping that you or Jay know a "broadcast lawyer." Here's a blurb from the May 29th Morning Memo and my thoughts after:
.
The Corruption Is Obvious Even To Them
CBS News parent Paramount has offered $15 million to settle Donald Trumpβs bogus lawsuit against it for how it edited an interview with Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2024 campaign. Trump is holding out for $25 million and an apology, but Paramount executive are leery of paying more than the going rate for these corrupt settlements of spurious Trump lawsuits because it might expose them to legal liability, the WSJ reports:
During the Trump-suit negotiations, one sticking point for Paramount executives has been whether a settlement could expose directors and officers to liability in potential future shareholder litigation or criminal charges for bribing a public official, according to people familiar with the conversations. By settling within the range of what other companies have paid to end litigation with Trump, some Paramount executives hope to minimize such liability, some of the people said.
Paramount is eager to settle for its own corrupt purpose: winning government approval for a planned merger.
.
Here's the thing that I want to ask about:
This is an obvious bribe, which, is a felony. By committing a felony, or conspiring to do so, Paramount/CBS is no longer legally entitled to hold ANY broadcast license WHATSOEVER. They currently own a large number of TV stations. As I recall from my time on the air in radio, EVERY complaint against a broadcaster must be investigated. What if someone filed a complaint of participating in a felony against every single license? That would BY LAW put a halt to any sale proceeding and perhaps stop their BRIBE to Trump, wouldn't it?
And then wouldn't that give all others incentive to tell Trump to pound sand when he blackmails them?
Interesting that it is written how Covid is running wild in the States. I was wondering when I was going to see that. My grand daughter has had a horrible bout of it for the last 2 weeks. A sign for those of us in Arizona: she went to a CVS Minute Clinic and did not get nor was even offered a Covid test. She lives in a red area of Queen Creek AZ. It is obviously running wild in her office as I am sure the vaccination rate is very low. AND due to RFK, at least for the next 4 years, she may not even be able to GET an updated vaccine. I also understand & have read that Plavix (sp) the antiviral drug is not being covered by some or all insurance. Not a good sign for US

"Kash looks like a toddler in a high chair."
More like a finger puppet.

Stephen Miller's wife really needs to see a therapist about her taste in men.
π
He keeps getting angry, he's sure to have a heart attack. He's not exactly someone who is 'fit' the gawd damn fat fuck!
Have a good day off, you two.
Still kind of hoping for some good profanity.
The trump response has become his boilerplate for anything:
1. talk about how good it was, possibly the best ever
2. add some vague details
3. talk about how it helped the person/country/issue in question
4. if it's something he doesn't like, use the word "nasty"
It's all he can do - every answer is the same format, just with different content
The comments on Cillizza's bluesky post are pure gold! (loved the Tropic Thunder reference)
TACO TACO MAN
π€£ OMG ,do we have new lyrics for Macho Man? The Con plays that at all his rallies. Youβre hilarious!
Yes new lyrics for that song. Iβve been laughing all day
