We don’t get as much press, but we are indeed the most corrupt. From state legislators embezzlement . Gov DeWine’s judge son presiding over state court cases. BTW I believe we paid for the DeWine extended family vacation.
I hate being this vague, but read an article a few years ago judging OH to be more corrupt than TX&FL. I think this person was judging on a Financial. Crimes basis.

This article does give what seems like a fairly good description of the various factions of the DSA from a member. I’m certainly sympathetic to moving the Democratic Party away from corporatism and towards working for the people, FDR style. But after reading this article including comments and the platform of the DSA I am not on board with them at all. And I see why republicans are calling them communists. I didn’t realize that many of them are all about Putin. Please.
This is one of the best pieces I’ve read in recent memory and I think it is so crucial. I’m pretty far left but I’m not a DSA person, but a lot of my friends are and I’ve had a lot of trouble reconciling the frankly batshit insane pieces of their platform (especially regarding foreign policy) with the left-of-democrats but generally reasonable views of Mamdani and others (I’m in Denver and a fan of Melat Kiros). I’m very much in favor of having a diversity of views in the Democratic Party INCLUDING DSA, but so many DSA folks go so much harder against democrats than against the actual fascists and it drives me insane

Seems important to understand that, like the big parties (and most movements), there are factions contending for influence in DSA. I worry that for some the general election advice to “vote blue no matter who” is only directed at left-of-democrats instead of being a commitment from ALL of us. I guess we’ll see when all of the primaries have concluded.
Someone please explain to me why a so-called DEMOCRATIC Socialist would go on Fox News and trash mainstream Dems. Its going to take us all voting blue whether old school Dem or DSA, WHOEVER is up against the Republican.
