With regard to the proposed meeting of Putin, Xi and Trump, it forces me to rethink my position on impeachment. I have long thought that going after Trump was a mistake as he is our best ally leading up to 2028. Every time he speaks, waddles and farts more and more people realize what a corrupt buffoon he is. Better, I thought, to impeach several of his most incompetent and dangerous Cabinet or senior level toadies...Hegseth, RFK, Jr., Patel, Markwayne Billy Bob etc. Doing so would accomplish a number of ends. First and most obvious, they deserve to run out of town on a rail. Second, it would mentally torture Trump to see his gang being decimated, possibly causing him to resign. I thought making him a target come January would cause everyone to lose focus on accomplishing a positive legislative agenda. However, IF Trump agrees to a meeting with Putin and Xi, he leaves Congress with no choice. In order to protect our nation, ensure that democracy has a future and to honor the sacrifices of all those who served our country in times of war, he needs to be removed post-haste. The prompt removal of this corrupt traitor becomes "Job One".
