I think Metallica was basically just saying that they don't want to talk about politics because they believe people just want to have a break from the bullshit. I don't think he was defending the orange shit stain. I mean if I go out or to a party I definitely don't want to hear all about the crap going on. It's constantly in my face all day. I just want to have a break and have a good time.

That Andy Harris is funny. These people really aren't used to being questioned. It's taken Americans losing their savings, etc. to start paying attention. It seems all GOPers are wondering why we aren't believing them. And then to blame Democrats because of regulations? Seriously, that party has pretty much removed them all.
No he's pretty on point as a republican. Au contraire, he is used to using subterfuge to avoid answering questions: he used a lie about the law in Maryland to refuse to answer any questions. Unfortunately, that's pretty clever and likely saved him from more lies.
