Voting has serious consequences. Be active in primaries&caucuses. Whoever wins the primary should be supported not boycotted. I think it’s time for generational change, but the decision by younger voters to abstain cost them abortion rights, ACA subsidies, SCOTUS, educational help..
We need to take voting seriously. We need to work hard to get the people you want, but accept the choices available.
Hey SH, Back in the day before his stroke(s), Fetterman was really a good choice for PA according to my friends who live there. He did all this great work with kids and communities of color, he was funny and committed. Then he had those strokes. This is not an excuse for him. What it is is another heads up on our broken election systems. We the people need to be able to recall members of Congress who are not fir to serve. Remember what they did to Dianne Fienstein, OMG or Mitch Mcconnell. We need to be able to recall these people including the top nutters. We have to make it easier to do this. But HOW?
I wonder if Fetterman was threatened somehow by Trump. His wife came here undocumented but is now a citizen- maybe there's a threat to her somehow. Or maybe his strokes made him nuts. Who knows? He did fool us- I don't live in PA but donated.
