Please stop using women's body parts to put down men -- even Trump. We women are already struggling with inequality, lower pay, and less respect than men get. Using our physical appearance, tropes about our strength, and parts of our anatomy to laugh at men is not okay. There isn't a male out there who understands what being a women means. So don't use us to diss any men -- even Trump.

I’m not keeping up so well lately with the shit show playing around our country. I’ve been on a break at hockey camp and various activities with my grandkids over the summer and getting news on the go from FaceBook 🤪. However, whenever I check in, all I wonder about is how the hell do “they” still not hear us screaming? You know, the citizens in an uproar and the elected that are supposed to be working for the common good. Like Waj says, mouse farts. The country has been hypnotized by a charlatan and I’m afraid there aren’t enough screaming WAKE UP! It feels like the childhood game of freeze tag, but the littlest kid is tasked with thawing all the kids in the neighborhood. Thanks Sam & Adam for hating the same things I do like the correspondence crowd and sports teams having dinner and meet and greets and acting like business as usual. finally, at 70, i am sooooooo sick and tired of being manipulated by politicians who take care of themselves first and scatter crumbs our way to make us feel they are ‘doing the people’s work’…. the youngsters have felt this a long time, they see through the BS of our corrupt and totally dysfunctional 2 party system. until the politicians stop their self aggrandizing, self enrichment, and lack of new initiatives for the future of our youth and our country, they can all go fcuk themselves. they do not respect us as voters, but they expect us to be their ATM. as of now, i only support ‘leaders we deserve’ david hogg, other youngsters like mockler, cochiarelli (sp?) etc, and the left hook with wajahat ali and danielle moody.
i’ve always followed ‘vote blue (or green) no matter who’ but with time i’ve realized (finally) that 95% of blue just toe-the-party-line and never ‘listen to the people’ - only listening to their close associates and people who support them no matter what. i hate polls, they are usually wrong and can be manipulated, and politicians only use them when it serves their purposes, so i want there to be more federal money allocated to regular plebiscites - ask ‘we-the-people’ what we think about things like ‘should we give more free money to israel’, ‘should we spend billions on a war with iran’, “should we close all the tax loopholes that the wealthy use in order to hide their money from the IRS’ (because the politicians won’t due to the fact that they and their wealthy donors all use these tax loopholes that the rest of us can’t use because we’re just regular working people), ‘should veterans get the exact same healthcare benefits that members of congress get’, ‘should everyone have access to good/free/affordable healthcare no matter their income and employment status’, ‘should we increase the taxes on the wealthy (despite the fact that they will still not pay their fair share due to all the legal tax loopholes etc)…..and then there are the questions about data centers, AI, immigration, ICE, political accountability, impeachment etc etc etc
are we ever asked to vote on these important issues….one at a time? the reason why politics is all about a ‘cable-tv-bundle-of-many-issues’ is so that we ‘vote blue no matter who’ because ‘some’ of the issues we count as being important and then we have to just put up with the rest…..
in my discussion with some people who work for politicians, they never get letters from voters about changing the way they do things and listening more to voters….they get letters/emails/phonecalls about single issues that the politicians assume is not a make-or-break issue that will stop the voter from continuing to vote-blue-bundle-no-matter-what. THEY know they have us by the short n curlies, and that we will always give them the benefit of the doubt (like magats do for the corrupt rapist pedophile trump and his putin style rubber stamp congress) even though THEY really don’t respect us and don’t care about changing the way THEY like to run politics.
of course i don’t expect positive responses from generic ‘vote-blue-no-matter-who’ supporters, but i exercise my right to support the young people who need to change the way our government operates and who it benefits, and to not support the establishment that does not respect me for my vote….they just expect my vote and then i must shut up and leave them alone…..
as an oldie, i need to get out of their way and i need to support them…..and the oldies and corporate/establishment/elite/AIPAC members of congress need to do the same…..so if all the ‘vote-blue-no-matter-who’ people would actually stand up and tell their useless blue congress members to get out and make room for youngsters, maybe we could have a better discussion……but vote blue no matter who and giving politicians a free pass to do their own thing on the congressional gravy train is not on my agenda.
