Good day America! I'm a 74-year-old member of the hate, evil, Satan party. I marched for civil rights, protested the war. I've done 60 years of volunteer work for my fellow Americans. And activist for this party for 55 years. I didn't know I was doing Satan's work! I think Trump was looking in the mirror!

Thank you! I don't feel too nice these days. Didn't expect to spend my retirement fighting Satan! Blessings to you.

“”Yesterday Trump’s former spiritual adviser and megachurch pastor Robert Morris pled guilty to sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl. So now we know why he was Trump’s spiritual adviser. Please lock this sick fuck up and throw away the key.””

I agree with the last sentence and because he was Cheeto’s spiritual advisor, maybe they could be cell mates!!

"Grrrrrrr. Remember when it was cool to be smart? "

A whole buncha years ago my wife and I were working in our local Democratic Party HQ on a Saturday (this must have been for the 2010 midterms) and Gabby Giffords came by to rally the troops, and she brought along the guy she was married to, who just happened to be an astronaut. EVERYBODY politely said "Hi" to her as we mobbed Mark Kelley for handshakes and autographs. :-) I still have his around here somewhere

"Grrrrrrr. Remember when it was cool to be smart?" Reminds me of1980s Huey Lewis and the News, "Hip to Be Square"...The lack of respect for education started with Reagan and has only intensified. I think the epitome for me was when I was manning a booth at the Tucson Festival of Books before the pandemic and I asked a woman who came up what she liked to read: mystery, romance, what? She looked at me and said, "I don't read. It's stupid." She was dead serious. At a fucking BOOK FESTIVAL. I suggested graphic novels, you know, with pictures, and she shook her head. "I'm just here for the food." And yeah, you can guess what she looked like.

I despair, I really do.

I was in my 20s when we went to the moon. Everything closed down so people could watch. It was thrilling. Sorry mtg’s goon missed it.

Same with me- we were students at the University of Texas in Austin! It was a breathtaking experience for all

I was 27. It was indeed thrilling. Then in the 80s I got to shake hands with two astronauts who later tragically died, but not before watching their earlier successful launch into a clear, blue Florida sky. Yes, thrilling.

Then came Musk. 🫤

Well child rapist Robert Morris is only service 6 months in Jail, so no justice is being served here. MTG's boyfriend thinks she's hot, so the fact that he believes we didn't land on the moon tracks perfectly with his IQ. What Dave Chappelle really meant was "they allow me to be a bigoted homophobe because they are bigoted homophobes."

I was a very young child when JFK was president. I’m aware he had flaws, but I remember phases like: Best&brightest. What you can do for your country.

One of my favorite movies “Interstellar” following a climate, ecological collapse, American school children are taught the space program was faked to push the economic end of the Soviet Union.

I honestly pray that our future populace isn’t all Marjorie Taylor Greene’s boyfriend level intellect.

I hope we don’t thru ignorance&greed destroy our planet’s eco system& thereby destroying ourselves

Comment to Bill McGuire: Rachel Maddow was only on 5 days a week for the felon's first 100 days. She's only on Mondays now.

You may not want to miss Lawrence O'Donnell; he's the best!

100% agree that Lawrence O'Donnell is the best. He speaks very openly/honestly about the lying liar and his lying league. It truly "helps" to know that someone is reporting the truth.

LD, and Sam and Adam, are truly my last remaining tethers to sanity.

Hey fellow sexy patriots! I'm a 67-year-old member of the hate, evil, Satan party, too. I first voted in 1976 for Gerald Ford---the last decent Republican president who was never elected. I had been a page that summer at a Republican convention and knew, at age 18, that I would never vote for Reagan. I could already tell, at that tender age, that Reagan would be hell for America. I have voted as a Democrat ever since. Keep up the great work, guys! Love your daily posts---cussing and all.

Regarding note 13 on Archbishop of Canterbury Sarah Mullally, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America has had a woman as presiding bishop for the past 12 years, Rev. Elizabeth Eaton. Tomorrow the new presiding bishop will be installed--a black man from the south side of Chicago, Rev. Yehiel Curry.
