Loved the clip of the Star Spangled Banner played by the Mariachi Herencia de Mexico band before the Bears-Eagles game in Chicago. The cheering from the crowd gave me hope and brought tears to my eyes.

In regards to Trumps ad, he’s not wrong, this is the last stand to preserve our democracy. Look at all we have lost already, if we lose this election, stick a fork in us, because we’re done.
I was impressed by the Mariachi band's rendition of the National Anthem. Staying true to the style of their genre they gave a very respectful and technically accurate presentation. Their costumes and demeanor were appropriate and you didn't see the obvious attempt to make it the "all about me" performances of many of the usual featured entertainers. All of this while our government does everything it can, legally or otherwise to denigrate their culture.
