It is NOT to late to try and block Schumer. I have already written both of my senators. And Indivisible org is workin this. We need new leadership and we want our voices heard. Schumer is going to be so controversial, why not put someone else in that seat.
Thank you for the daily sanity checks that you provided. Those were very dark days and we know that the election does not change everything as Trump is still president. But enough will change to give us hope and power to see this through. I hope you realize how important it was to me to read your posts every morning, it made a real impact. Thank you.
I agree with y'all that Dems shouldn't be asking for permission from Repugs to govern. To use Susan Collins' fave verb, Jeffries latest statements have me concerned that they can't do more than one thing at a time. How do we let him know that we want lower costs along with accountability for the crimes committed against the people? And new laws to prevent another fascist driving a tank through our weak checkpoints.
