Donald Trump wanted to show everyone to see who’s in charge. And on Thursday night, the citizens of Washington, D.C. showed him just that.
Washingtonians took to the streets, throwing a resistance party and sending a beautiful Fuck You to the commander-in-shit-for-brains. Earlier, Trump had visited some federal officers to talk about grass and other nonsense. He claimed earlier in the day that he would be going on patrol. That, of course, was a lie. Because he’s a total chickenshit.
And not long after Trump retreated to the increasingly grotesque White House to watch Fox News and definitely not South Park, this happened:
Now that’s America being great.
Notice how nobody is beating any cops with the American flag? Nobody is smearing their shit anywhere? Nobody is wearing a “Camp Auschitz” t-shirt? Yeah, it’s because we are good, freedom-loving Americans pushing back against facism and not a bunch of violent assholes in a dipshit cult. This is how you protest tyranny. This is the people standing up.
We’re sorry to be taking today off from our newsletter, but we did want to share this protest video with you. It made us smile, it gave us some hope and it reminded us that there are SO MANY of us who are sick of all the bullshit.
So please don’t despair. Things are bleak, and they will almost definitely get worse. But together — standing shoulder-to-shoulder with y’all — we’ll fight them every goddamn step of the way. We ain’t got much, but we’ve got each other. And our music is way better than theirs.
Thank you for the day off, Sexy Patriots. Thank you for joining us, thank you for fighting like hell and thank you for being so effing Sexy and Patriotic.
We love you, and we’ll see you Monday.

The last thing anyone should want is the military on their street corner. This is a camel's nose under the tent moment - they are attempting to normalize the idea - and everyone needs to reject it immediately.
If crime is a problem there are likely well over a million town, county, state, and federal law enforcement officers that can be deputized in DC to bring back order. The national guard or military has no place here, and you do not want them to camp out. Once they get a foothold they will not leave willingly.
Where is Bolton? Was he at home? Also, I was happy happy joy joy listening to Newsom last night until he mentioned the possibility of Hakeem Jeffries for Speaker of the House - dafuk?
