Are the gen-z candidates and organizers going to legitimately be given a seat at the same table with old guard and millennial Ds? David Hogg was onto something threatening to primary Ds with their heads in the sand, or those who posture but still voted for the miserably incompetent sycophantic cabinet picks. I have a do -nothing centrist rep who's now running for the vacant Senate seat in my state and I'm so fekking tired of the both sidesism coming out of his campaign, pick a lane and stop trying to appeal to the hateful right in our state.
Absolutely! I love the both of them as well. I sincerely believe that AOC should run for POTUS one day, but honestly don't think 2028 is her number. She is most definitely a courageous and smart warrior (as is JC) but methinks AOC's time will come a bit later.
Love the therapy sessions. I’m going to make an unpopular comment. I love Barrack Obama, but during his presidency he was very divisive. He said he was going to bring us together, but his rhetoric was anything but. I wasn’t paying as close attention to politics during his presidency as I am now, and have been, like a lot of us since the unfortunately working escalator in 2015….but I remember repeating being disappointed that he was so divisive, in an us versus them way, or rich vs poor. I’m guessing that divisiveness coming from our first black president fed into the awakening of hatred and racism that was part of why we got Trump. It clearly wasn’t the only reason, but I believe it contributed rather significantly.
