Democrats shouldn’t be supporting the Epstein War

A draft-dodging president in the middle of a child rape scandal waddled to the microphones at his South Florida sex palace, wearing a campaign hat, and announced that America is at war with Iran and our sons and daughters might have to die.

You don’t need to pay a consultant to tell you to stay away from that shitshow.

Or at least we thought so.

While most elected Democrats were quick to condemn Trump’s illegal war and point out it represents yet another broken campaign promise, there were Democrats, like Rep. Greg Landsman, who were offering their support on Saturday morning.

What the fuck are you thinking, Greg?

We saw Greg’s bullshit and Chuck Schumer’s weak and cowardly statement about the same time we saw the news that an Israeli missile hit an Iranian school for girls. Last we saw, 82 were killed. We don’t want anything to do with a party that would support that, and we’re pretty sure most Americans don’t either.

As long as we can remember, Democrats let themselves get bullied into supporting stupid wars because they were worried about being called wimps. Remember John Kerry being against the Iraq War before he was for it? Remember how Barack Obama beat Hillary Clinton with her vote to go to Iraq as his top point of attack?

Donald Trump is an historically unpopular president. This will be an historically unpopular war. Anyone who supports it is going to have to pay the piper at some point. Why the hell would any Democrat want to walk that plank for Trump?

Enough is enough. Be the opposition party or get out of the way.

The Democratic Party should be saying in one voice that this is an illegal war that is already killing children, and it was only started so the president of the United States can distract us from his sex crimes. Anything less is us failing the mission.

In 2024, we saw way too many disillusioned voters who turned their backs on us and stayed home because they didn’t see a difference between the two parties when it came to Gaza. We can debate whether that’s true until the cows come home, but that’s how they felt and we know how it turned out.

This is a political opportunity for a reset. Be a party that is actually anti-war. Be crystal fucking clear about it. No more talking out of both sides of your mouths.

Learn from the past, Democrats. Or doom us all to repeating it.
