I’m just wondering if the stroke messed up his brain somehow. I know when my mom had her stroke she went from being sweet and loving to being very grumpy and bitter.
We have history to lean on. For those that need to tune out, of course. For those of us who must tune in, we are the compassionate who understand. But we will must all pledge solidarity. The nazis , the gestapo, were the former ICE/ MAGA. Yet people of France , Europe, they risked it all. There were resistance movements, they dedicated their lives every day. They saw inhumanity at it's worst.
Adam, I am lucky enough to have neighbors like you! One year they shoveled the whole street before the plows came. I wasn't much help, but I'm not as sturdy as I used to be.
John Roberts took William Rehnquist's place on the Supreme Court after Rehnquist died. Bush II originally nominated him to fill Sandra Day O'Connors spot when she retired but then Rehnquist died and Roberts replaced him as Chief Justice. It's been a big horrible downhill slide ever since.

I’m so stressed out about the eroding civil rights, constitutional protections and sovereignty lost during this regime. I hate what’s happening to our democracy. My mom had the same problem. She was never the same after her first stroke. Strokes do damage the brain.

The blind man was from Buffalo NY was in detention center-dumped him out. Didn’t notify fam or lawyers. He died on the street.
