I’m a USNA graduate, if Mikie Sherrill had cheated at the Academy she would not have graduated. If she lied about not cheating she would not have graduated either. However, the USNA Honor Concept does not require a Midshipman to bear witness against another Mid, just no cheating, lying or obfuscation, keeping quiet is not a dismissible offense. She was restricted because she did not cooperate with the investigation. Mids can be intensely loyal to their peers. However, it is not a dismissible offense.
I live in Pennsylvania and I was a strong supporter of John Fetterman. I wore one of his t-shirts that said "Trump is a Jagoff" which got me banned from the local Y. I have been so very disappointed is his decisions since his stroke. He wasn't like that before. Such a shame.
