Adam—link to Plouffe interview was to the infant mortality article. Not sure I should read the Plouffe article because one more drop of panic might impede my phonecalling abilities (such as they are)—but others might need to torment themselves by reading it.

I'm not sure which Plouffe interview I watched within the last week - it was one where he talked about those polls - but it was one of the Most useful interviews I've heard in terms of concise sound-bite sized answers to the tough questions that come up while we are phone banking. I took extensive notes, made 3x5 cards organized by issue, etc. Unfortunately none of that helped today when I spoke to a single mom who is not voting, and after some probing, gentle, but she didn't give up anything easily, it was Gaza. I don't have 3x5 cards for that.
