‘Angry’ Trump’s Boring Bullshit

We’re pissed and yawning

He’s a racist, he’s a rapist, he’s a traitor, he’s an insurrectionist, he’s a kiss-ass to dictators, he’s a moron, he’s a misogynist and he’s the asshole who said Wednesday that he is “entitled to personal attacks” against Vice President Kamala Harris.

But now Trump is boring too, and boring bullshit just doesn’t fly in American politics.

For more than an hour Wednesday, Trump stood outside of his New Jersey country club  — the one where his ex-wife is buried — and whined and complained about windmills and MS-13 and all kinds of other dumb shit we’ve heard a million times before. 

He even talked about Hillary’s fucking server. That election was eight years ago.

Trump has always been a lunatic and a loser, but now he’s a boring lunatic and a boring loser. And who the hell would want to support that?

With all his delusions and fanciful thinking, Trump can be hard to pin down on what he’s actually stupid enough to believe and what he’s just pretending to believe. But we do not believe that even he believes he is up in the polls as he said Wednesday.

He knows he’s losing. But it seems like what is really killing him is losing the attention. 

He can’t hold rallies anymore because the press compares Kamala Harris’s giant crowds to his limp ones. So he keeps doing these pathetic, low-energy country club press conferences so he can get the media to show up and let him rant. 

On Wednesday, when asked about his lack of discipline as a campaigner, Trump let slip just how personal this race has gotten for him. 

“I’m very angry at her,” Trump said of Harris. “I think I’m entitled to personal attacks. I don’t have a lot of respect for her. I don’t have a lot of respect for her intelligence, and I think she’ll be a terrible president.”

He added: “She actually called me weird.”

He then went on to complain yet again about Harris being on the cover of Time. 

Was it all crazy? Yep. Was it terrifying to think this asshole lunatic could be president again? Yep. Was it also somehow so goddamn boring that we kept tuning out? You bet your ass it was.

It’s worth asking what Vice President Harris was doing while Trump was talking about Cheerios and how angry he is at the Black woman running against him. After joining President Biden for an event where they announced lower drug prices for seniors thanks to their administration, Harris had her campaign start leaking details from her Friday economic policy speech.

Yeah, she’s going to propose giving $25,000 to first-time homebuyers to help with a downpayment, the construction of 3 million new housing units and and tax incentives for builders who build properties for first-time buyers.

So on Friday, Harris will be talking about housing. And on Thursday, she was living in Trump’s empty head rent-free.
