Thank you, Adam and Sam. I agree with you about Musk, and pretty much blame him for Trump "winning" in 2024 (with Musk's interference I'm sure). He needed to insure his huge "campaign contribution", illegal for a government contractor, and get his Doge goons in place.
Soooooo once again I missed another Therapy Session. I see I am not getting notifications in my email. I re-read yesterday's newsletter and did not see a mention as to what time it was going to happen. :-/. FYI Adam, I have received a couple of 'follows' from a Adam Parkhomenko. I am sure it is a troll as there was not bio. AND influencers, writers/journalists usually do not follow we subscribers. I have been getting trolls for a few months now. I had a Simon Rosenberg follower too. I guess I need to write Substack, which is dicey, as I feel their support sucks for subscribers. I couldn't even find a 'block' option. So, I am wondering if this is why I am not getting notifications. I will be checking my settings. Any help here would be appreciated. VERY disappointed to miss yesterday's session. Good thing I was still feeling good because of Tuesday's results.

The Magnificent Michelle Obama said "when they go low, we go high." Nope, not anymore. I actually cancelled my membership at one of the outlets you mentioned because I was chastised for saying "Kegseth" in a comment - was told "we don't do that here, let's keep it classy." The orange blob is AI-flying over the country pooping on our fellow Americans but they want ME to 'keep it classy.' Naw dude.
We can definitely take some time this week to celebrate and feel good, but woe unto us if we EVER get complacent.
Also: Yes, Momdani's election is exciting. But there is no way in my lifetime* he'll be the face of the "new" Democratic Party. I really do hope we're headed the way of Democratic Socialism (Socialist Democracy?) but I know how terrified many people are of change and that's a pretty extreme leap from the status quo.
*I turn 70 in 5 days - cards and good wishes welcome, lol - I just wish I'd live long enough to see us turn into what we CAN be rather than what we've always been, and especially what we are currently.

Sam is spot on with the feeling of hope, especially re: Mamdani. It's only a little bit of hope, for me, but the first time in one year.
