A single Trump family member traveled to Atlanta for the debate. She’s a Biden surrogate.

No Melania. No Ivanka-Jared. No Beavis or Butthead. Only (Biden backer) Mary Trump.

Imagine running for president without your spouse or any of your adult children there supporting you. That’s Donald Trump. ZERO Trump family members traveled to Atlanta to support the convicted felon at the debate. There was, however, a Trump family member at the debate, and she was there to support President Biden.

The Biden-Harris team made the bold move to recruit Mary Trump, niece of the convicted felon, to spin for their campaign. She joined CNN’s Wolf Blitzer pre-debate to talk about why she’s supporting President Biden over her uncle. “President Biden is the man for our time,” she said — as the convicted felon landed in Atlanta:

Mary Trump traveled to Atlanta because, in her words, our country “cannot afford to allow Donald Trump anywhere near the levers of power again” and “the stakes are far too high for us to get this wrong.”

“For my whole life I have witnessed my uncle’s narcissism and cruelty,” she said. (Ouch.)

No Trump children and certainly not his beloved wife Melania were in Atlanta to defend the convicted felon. As Mary Trump explained, the convicted felon’s “relationships are all transactional.”

First Lady Joe Biden was her husband’s guest at the debate.
